My photo blog & updates, soon with more photos
Hi everyone..
I hope everyone is doing well.. can you believe we are already half way into 2008? I know, I know.. it's been over a month since I posted and I need to once again excuse my absense from the blog with my loyal readers - ahem.. is there anybody out there? :)
I'm just posting quickly to say that (hopefully) I'll have some more content on the blog now thanks to my new photo blogger software on my Sony Ericcson K800i mobile phone. Even thuogh I've had the phone for 10 months or so now I've finally just got around to setting it up to work with my blog and so far so good - I've done a few tests photos and the system works great. Photos from my mobile phone, directly from my phone to this blog!
My intention is to post random photos from events, trips and other random things. So look out for some photos showing up on this blog very soon!
I have been meaning to write a lot more on this blog lately because I've had a lot on my mind - work, personal, family.. it's all happening.. but alas, the time monster beats me and I haven't found the time to sit down and properly blog it all.
In brief,
I've started a new part-time job with a website development company called Eastside Digital which seems to be going well - they currently support a number of internal projects for the umbrella company plus do a small amount of client work. I've taken full-lead of most of the projects and have kickstarted progress on the various things they have had me look at.
I'm still running my own business doing client I.T. related stuff, plus working on my own projects including Domain TakeAway and My Host Monitor - plus some other stuff which you'll have to catch up the latest news on in my biz blog.
My brother has taken a 6 month contract to do I.T. support in Roxby Downs - they are paying more than double what he was earning at Internode. He leaves in 2 weeks.
I finally purchased Grand Theft Auto IV for my Xbox 360 and it's fantastic. The attention to detail is amazing and the storyline is really well conceived. I've just moved onto the second island now and feel like I'm starting to get into the game now.
I go to court August 6th for my drink driving offence. Not looking forward to that but it will be good to get it out of the way.
..and in a few weeks I'm off to Melbourne for 8 days to do camera work on a football carnival. It will be great to catch up with a few peoples whilst I'm over there too!
